Following is feedback from a few individuals who participated in the permanent makeup or cosmetic acupuncture training. We've included comments from as far back as 2007 to let you know that we have been teaching for awhile and feel confident about our ability to:
- explain concepts in a simple manner, both orally and in writing,
- demonstrate their application, and
- provide students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge.
Also, we go the extra mile to research our subject so that our students have quality reference material to take home with them. Included in our fee is supplies, manual, text book and free refresher training.
Rather than restricting our own practical work to supervising students, we continue to offer permanent makeup services ensuring that we keep up to date on best practices, safety issues, risks and hazards, the performance of pigment brands and equipment, legislation and evolving trends.
We push no particular pigment brand or equipment offering information on a variety of inks and rotary and digital machines. No surprises on this course: Students do not find out when they arrive for instruction that they are obligated to pay out an additional $3,400 to $4,000 + HST for digital equipment.
If you do not already have a machine, you can purchase a digital from us prior to training or a rotary will be made available at the course for $310. Some permanent makeup artists have two machines, one for backup, for example, a digital and rotary or two rotary machines.
The owner is an International Associate Member of the American Academy of Micropigmentation whose aim is to ensure high quality client care through a voluntary certification examination offered to practitioners internationally.

"I like the permanent makeup practicum and free refresher training as it`s important for me to learn through practical experience. Although you explain the procedures step-by-step in the manual with pictures, I would like to see a procedures` check list added for easy reference. Would like exterior signage to make it easier for student models to find the training facility.``

"I liked the handouts, very holistic i.e. lifestyle, diet, nutrition, acupuncture, patient education, self care, etc. Lots of practice, which for me was most important. It was well worth the cost for me..otherwise I would have been looking for flights/accomodations/sitters. The (other) reason why I thought your (cosmetic acupuncture) course was great was because the content focused more on the points/technique rather than product. I believe some of the other (courses) spend a day on (their) products."
